5. It May Be Time For Orton to Start Slowing Down

Randy-Orton

In a nutshell, Orton should transition to being in the same role Chris Jericho has been utilized for in WWE. The roster needs veterans that can come in, put over talent, and make them bigger stars. Y2J has been helping talent get over for years now by doing that. He’s been doing it so much that a lot of fans complain that a win over Chris Jericho isn’t as valuable anymore.

A win over Randy Orton is still an impressive statement because Orton is so good in the ring, and even though he has the same longevity that John Cena has, the people don’t respond to Orton the same? It may be Orton’s time to become the gatekeeper of the roster and be the man everyone needs to beat to prove they can be a main event player and become WWE Champion.
