There is absolutely no argument against this one. By Summerslam 2015, Daniel Bryan was the hottest wrestler on the planet by an unbelievable margin. Cena acknowledged this by giving him a WWE Championship shot. A match that Daniel Bryan would win 100% clean in one of the best matches of Cena’s career.

However, Cena was injured before and during the match with a torn tricep. The poor argument against Cena is his character wasn’t 100% when Bryan beat him which is a nitpicking complaint that Cena himself answered the next night by putting Bryan over on the microphone. From there, Bryan was the top face through Wrestlemania 30 when he truly won the WWE Championship. Meanwhile, Cena was busy putting over yet another man.
