There’s your replacement. We are less than four days away from Survivor Series and that means the card should be mostly set. That being said, WWE has a tendency to take their time making some final adjustments and this year is no exception. As of last week, there are two holes on some Survivor Series teams, but one of them has since been filled with a bit of a surprise replacement.
Last week on SmackDown, Sonya Deville pulled Aliyah from the SmackDown women’s Survivor Series team after a six woman tag but did not name a replacement at the time. This week, Deville has announced that Toni Storm will be taking Aliyah’s place on the team. Storm appeared on last week’s SmackDown to challenge Charlotte to a SmackDown Women’s Title match but was turned down. She has not wrestled on television since the October 8 SmackDown.
With #SurvivorSeries fast approaching, I want to ensure each brand is represented by the best and brightest Superstars. Therefore, it’s my pleasure to announce that TONI STORM will be the fifth and final member of the #Smackdown Women’s team. Congrats and good luck on Sunday!

Storm is a heck of a prospect. Check out who will be coming to the team:
Opinion: This is a good choice for the final spot, though I can’t say I get the thinking behind putting Aliyah in the match in the first place. I know they’re going for Deville as the new villain boss but it comes off as making things extra busy without much of a positive impact. Aliyah isn’t ready for the spot so putting Storm in there helps, but they’re certainly taking the complicated way to get there.
What do you think of the change? How will the match go? Let us know in the comments below.
