That’s a different take for AEW. The Women’s Revolution has changed the way women’s wrestling works in a very positive way. After years of women’s wrestling having next to no value whatsoever, it is now treated as something with value throughout the wrestling world. It is fascinating to see how far it has come, but what if someone with some more pull does not like it as much?

Fightful Select has an update on WarnerMedia’s, the parent company of TNT and TBS, stance on women’s wrestling on AEW television. Last year, a rumor began circulating that WarnerMedia had only allowed one women’s match on any show on their networks. According to Fightful Select, there was no such rule ever handed down and there was no request or suggestion about less women’s wrestling to AEW. All that WarnerMedia cares about is “good content” and having high social or TV ratings.

Opinion: This isn’t quite a surprise, as WarnerMedia would not seem likely to care about the kind of content airing, as long as it isn’t going over a line and draws good numbers. If that happens to be women’s wrestling, then so be it. AEW’s women’s division has come a long way in the last few years and I want to see just how far they can go with the whole thing.
