WWE Changing Plans On Major Return

Not so fast? There are a lot of wrestlers on the WWE roster today and several of them are more well known than others. You can certainly see the top level stars rising above the rest as there is little way to hold down talent of that kind. Seeing them around is a great thing but at the same time, it can be nice to have them go away so that they can come back. That was to be the case again, but things may have changed.

While there are several to level names in WWE today, there are very few on par with Seth Rollins. With multiple World Title reigns to his name, there is very little that Rollins has not accomplished in WWE. That can make it a little difficult to find things for him to do, so maybe a little break could help him. Rollins has been gone for a bit, but now it might be a little longer.

WWE.com has removed all mentions of Rollins’ previously announced return for this week’s SmackDown. This even includes deleting tweets advertising it after the announcement was made. There is no word on why the return was delayed, or if WWE is trying to make it more of a surprise. Rollins has been gone since Survivor Series to be with fiance Becky Lynch as she gave birth to their daughter.

Opinion: This could very well be nothing more than WWE making a creative change and it would hardly be all that shocking. Rollins is one of the top stars in the company and it would be a great thing to have him back as soon as possible. Either way, I’m sure he is going to be in the ring again soon, and that is going to be the kind of boost that SmackDown can always use.
