There’s still room. WrestleMania 37 is less than two weeks away and that means WWE should have had the cards ready weeks ago. As you can probably guess, that is not the case as WWE does not exactly have the best track record when it comes to keeping things on schedule. Even with so little time left, there is still time to add another match, which might be the case for both nights.
There are so many titles under the WWE banner at the moment and that means the company is going to have to find a way to get them all on the card. That might sound like an easy concept, but with so many other matches to cover, that might not be so easy. This time around though they might be doubling up on a title, which could make things a little more complicated.
According to PWInsider.com, WWE has taped content during this week’s Monday Night Raw to set up a pair of WrestleMania matches, taking place over the two nights of the show. The first will be a multi-team tag match to crown #1 contenders for the Women’s Tag Team Titles. The winning team will challenge Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler for the titles the following night. It is not clear how many or which teams will be involved in the #1 contenders match.
There are a few options here. Check out some potential challengers:
Opinion: I’m not sure who is going to be contending for or earning the title shot, but this is the kind of thing that could go in a lot of different directions. Some of those might be more interesting than others, but it isn’t like any one team has stood out at this point. Hopefully something winds up working out though, because they could be in for a rather nice weekend as a result.
