I guess Canada does so as well. AEW is on the brink of starting their weekly television series and that means they are needing to get their names out there as much as they can. They don’t have a bunch of mainstream names, but they do have one ace up their sleeves (or maybe sleeveless). That would be Chris Jericho, who got some mainstream attention this week.
Jericho, the reigning AEW World Champion, appeared on the season finale of America’s Got Talent this week, where he served as a coach in trash talk for a comedian named Ryan Niemiller. The coaching helped Niemiller all the way to third place for the season on the show. Jericho is currently scheduled to defend his title at the first AEW Dynamite show on October 2.
The man can do it all. Check out a thank you worthy coaching job:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that Jericho can do as well as anyone else. He can go onto any show and be a captivating personality, which is something that is going to work every single time. AEW needs some more people that can become mainstream names, though it could take some times to get there. Jericho can help them out a lot int hat regard and odds are that is exactly what he is going to be doing.
Who will take the title from Jericho? How valuable is he to AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
