There is money to be made. Over the last year and a half, WWE has managed to put together a variety of major television deals, which are bringing the company a fortune. While a lot of that money is going to go to the company’s executives, it means there is a lot of money to go to the wrestlers themselves. That could make for some interesting results and we might know some specific amounts.

Express Sports (United Kingdom tabloid) has released a selection of over sixty base salaries of WWE salaries. These numbers are base salaries and do not include bonuses or extra money from merchandise or endorsements. Several of these have been known before but there are some updates due to recently signed contracts. Some of the names are no longer full time performers but are still paid by the company. The full list is available at the link, but here are some noteworthy names and numbers:

Opinion: A lot of these make sense but there are some that are just downright bizarre, which is made even worse when you compare them to some of the bigger (or smaller) names in the same areas. That being said, there are several other aspects to how much these people are compensated, which may include things like travel bills and hotels being paid for in lieu of money. Still though, it’s always interesting to see something like this and I’m sure it will get some people talking.
