Welcome back again! There are a lot of people on the WWE roster and that means there are going to be several moves in one direction or another. Sometimes these can be promotions but there are other times when someone has to go away for one reason or another. These are rarely positive and injuries are a common situation, but now two names have made their big returns to WWE.
During this week’s SmackDown, two names returned after missing several months each with injuries. First up was Alexa Bliss, who has been out of action since Hell In A Cell in early October due to a shoulder injury. Bliss ran down to save her partner Nikki Cross from a double teaming at the hands of Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose after Cross had defeated the former in a singles match.
Nice to see you again. Check out Bliss coming in for the save:
The second return took place later in the show in the form of Elias, who had been out of action since September, when he was put on the shelf with an ankle injury. Elias returned in a backstage segment where he sang a song about Drake Maverick attempting to kiss Dana Brooke underneath the mistletoe and hoping that his wife didn’t find out. There is no word on when Elias will be getting back in the ring.
Encore! Check out Elias’ latest return and song:
Opinion: Things were moving on this week’s SmackDown as these two returns followed Sheamus’, who appeared in a backstage segment earlier in the night. I know none of those three are going to shake things up all that much, but they are extra pairs of hands who can mix things up a bit. Maybe they can do something good for SmackDown and bring in some new fans, which is something the show could need.
Which of the returns will be best? What do you want to see both of them do? Let us know in the comments below.
