Welcome home? WrestleMania can often be seen as the season finale for WWE. After months of build, the big event comes and offers a closure to several feuds and storylines. It can also include the final appearances of some big names for the time being, as you will occasionally see a wrestler take a hiatus after the show. That was the case again this year, but now someone is back.

This week’s SmackDown featured a championship celebration for Raw Women’s Champion Asuka. However, Charlotte interrupted the ceremony, making her first appearance since losing the SmackDown Women’s Title to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 39 back in April. Charlotte challenges Asuka to a title match, which Asuka accepted. There is no word on when the match will take place, though Adam Pearce suggested June 30 in London, England.

Opinion: This is an interesting twist as Charlotte is going to be a star no matter what she does, but the big question here is Bianca Belair. Pearce had already promised her a title match so a triple threat would not be out of the question. Either way, we should be in for a heck of a match as the top of the division is suddenly more interesting, even if the names there are rather familiar.
What do you think of the change? Will Charlotte take the title from Asuka? Let us know in the comments below.
