You need a headliner. More often than not, the World Title is the most important thing in a wrestling company. So many stories are going to be built around the title, whether it is someone wanting to be champion or fighting to keep the title. That is a story that has worked for years and it still works today. Now we have another main event set up over the World Title.

Back in September, Jon Moxley defeated Eddie Kingston in a surprise World Title match. Moxley defeated Kingston via submission, though Kingston never tapped out or said that he quit. Kingston has not been happy with this and has vowed to make Moxley quit to take the title from him in the future. Kingston is going to have his chance to do just that on a pretty big stage.

This week on Dynamite, Kingston vs. Moxley in an I Quit match was confirmed for the Full Gear pay per view on November 7. The match will be the first I Quit match in AEW history and was announced after Kingston choked out Moxley to end last week’s Dynamite. Kingston continued to rant against Moxley after the show was over, promising to make him quit to lose the title.

It was quite the speech. Check out the match and promo that set this up:

Opinion: This is a match where the ending might not be in the most doubt and there’s nothing wrong with that. Moxley isn’t likely to drop the title to Kingston, but the story is there and they should have a great match on the way to the pretty obvious ending. It’s something that has worked before and it can work begin, which certainly should be the case at Full Gear as well.
