What could have been. This year has been perhaps the strangest in the history of wrestling as there have been so many stories taking place in a hurry that it can be hard to keep up. One of the biggest problems has been some of the wrestlers not being around, though some of them have come back to the ring since. However, one of them has not been back, and he is kind of a big deal.

Back at WrestleMania 36, Drew McIntyre defeated Brock Lesnar to become the WWE Champion for the first time. This was the last time that Lesnar has appeared in WWE and his contract has since expired. There is always the chance that Lesnar could return to the company later on, but for now, there is no Lesnar in WWE. That means some matches might not take place, and now we know what they could have been.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, should Lesnar return to WWE, he would be most likely to face either Roman Reigns or McIntyre. There is no reason to suggest that Lesnar would be facing Bobby Lashley, even though Lashley has been campaigning for the match for over a year. Should Lesnar return, it would likely be at one of WWE’s Saudi Arabia events, whenever they are brought back.

Lesnar has fought them before. Check out how the matches went down:

Opinion: I’m not sure what to make of this but I can’t imagine Lesnar doesn’t appear again at some point. Lesnar seems to stay in shape almost all of the time and all he has to do is show up and throw some suplexes into an F5. What more could you really asks from him? I don’t need to see Lesnar vs. McIntyre or Reigns again, but Lesnar could be valuable to the company. Just please don’t have him be the World Champion again.

What do you think of the matches? Who would you like to see Lesnar face? Let us know in the comments below.
