That’s a pretty negative endorsement. Whether you are a fan of his or not, there is no denying that Vince McMahon is the ultimate power in all of professional wrestling. Whatever he decides is going to take place is what is going to take place and he can make or break a career in the blink of an eye. That might be the case at the moment, and there are going to be some unhappy fans.

If there is one thing that NXT has accomplished in WWE, it is bringing in all kinds of new talent to the company. There have been so many big names and great wrestlers who have been brought into the company and those names are making their way up to the main roster. That being said, there is so much talent that not everyone is going to get a huge push, and we might know who falls into that weaker category.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, McMahon has given up on Ricochet, based on Ricochet losing to Riddick Moss on Monday Night Raw. There was no specific reason given for McMahon giving up, though it may be just McMahon changing his mind about the potential that he saw. Ricochet was compared to Cedric Alexander, who McMahon began to push and then stopped wrestling on Monday Night Raw almost immediately.

Is this the evidence that you need? Check out Ricochet’s most recent matches:

Opinion: This is something where I’m going to need a little more time to believe it’s true. Less than a week ago, Ricochet was challenging Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship. I don’t know if he is done as someone who matters, and while the loss to Moss looks bad, it strikes me as odd that Ricochet would fall off in less than a week. Maybe I’m wrong, but this seems like jumping to a conclusion.
