What an interesting….villain? Vince McMahon is the most powerful man in wrestling today as well as all time and that is not about to change anytime soon. There is little that he has not done in the world of wrestling and he will continue to be in charge until the day he is gone. However, McMahon is also known for being one of the quirkiest names in all of wrestling with some flat out bizarre moments and statements to his credit. One of them involves something he doesn’t like and it shouldn’t be all that surprising.
On the latest edition of his Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross spoke about a time when McMahon told him that sleep was an enemy. Ross talked about how McMahon felt that he could get by on only a few hours of sleep a night, possibly as few as three, and was wanting to get back up and continue working. McMahon has convinced himself that he does not need a lot of sleep and can do everything he wants on less sleep than most people. Ross believes that McMahon follows this theory as he has been so successful on so little sleep that there is no reason for him to change.
McMahon is almost a parody of himself already. Check out a few of his greatest moments:
Opinion: Really, this is one of the least strange stories you’ll hear about McMahon. He really is one of the oddest people you’ll ever hear about and wanting to work instead of sleep is right in his wheelhouse. I have no idea how he manages to do everything that he does but somehow it works. Now if only he could find a way to not be as weak with creative as he has been in recent years, things might get a little bit better. Maybe a nap or two here or there could help things out?
