So you’re saying there’s a chance. It’s rare to see a wrestler have a nearly twenty five year career with the same company. It’s even rarer to see a wrestler win a major political office. In Kane’s case though, he’s done both and become the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. With that being his new job though, it would seem likely for him to be done in the ring. As is almost always the case in wrestling though, never say never.

In a new interview posted on WWE’s YouTube channel, Kane talks about making the transition from WWE to being the Mayor and how much different the two jobs are. He also mentions a potential return to the ring, saying that while he has a lot of responsibilities now, never say never. Kane, who turned fifty two on April 26, last wrestled in November at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.

The Mayor has something to say. Check out the birthday interview with Kane:

Opinion: It’s hard to imagine Kane wrestling again but as he said, never say never. The aura that Kane brings is more than enough to give him a spot in the Royal Rumble or just as a surprise opponent for someone one night on Monday Night Raw. His size and strength are more than enough to carry him for a short match and his legacy pulls him over the line as far as he needs to go. If he comes back to the ring one day, cool indeed, but I’d think his resume so far is pretty much complete.
