What horrible timing. There are very few wrestlers who have given more of their body to wrestling than Jeff Hardy. The man has gone through all kinds of injuries over the years because he has almost no regards for whatever he does to his body week to week. That can cause all kinds of issues for someone over the years and it seems to be the case again now.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Hardy’s current knee injury is somewhat severe and he likely needs surgery. The injury is related to a torn PCL that Hardy suffered in his dirt bike accident back in 2015. At the moment, Hardy and his brother Matt are the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, meaning that something is likely to happen to the titles on this week’s SmackDown Live.

It was a nice moment before things went south. Check out the Hardys’ title win:

Opinion: Dang it. The Hardys aren’t likely to be around much longer as both of them have gotten older and they seem to be banged up all the time anymore. I’m not sure how many more times they can come back together and reach these heights, though to be fair that has been the case for a long time now. Hopefully Jeff isn’t out of action for too long because the team doesn’t have much time left.

Do you think the Hardys will drop the titles? Who should take them? Let us know in the comments below.
