Not cool bro. There are very few wrestlers who live up to their hype as a prodigy but Matt Riddle comes as close as anyone else. For someone who has only been wrestling for a few years, Riddle just gets it like few others ever have in the history of wrestling. He’s just a natural no matter what he does but that doesn’t make him invincible, meaning he can get injured just like everyone else.

As announced on his Twitter account, Riddle has been pulled off of this weekend’s house shows due to a mild arm infection. There is no word on when the injury took place or how long Riddle will be out, though it doesn’t seem to be very long. Riddle, who debuted with WWE late last year, is already talking about going skateboarding this weekend, suggesting that the injury is not severe.

The man has some lofty goals. Check out Riddle’s plans for NXT and beyond:

Opinion: This doesn’t sound too bad and there is a good chance that Riddle won’t miss any TV time given how far in advance NXT tapes television. Riddle is the kind of guy who can be a star for a very long time with the natural charisma and pure in-ring talent to carry him wherever he wants to go. Hopefully the situation isn’t very bad, and at the moment that seems to be the case.
