This is only a rumor, so take it for what its worth. According to the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lio Rush has some internal heat on him, which is why he was not out with Bobby Lashley this week on Raw.

The report says that Rush is a very confident man and while you need that to be a star in professional wrestling, that attitude can rub people the wrong way. Apparently, he’s made it very clear to many people that he thinks he should be one of the top guys on Raw and has been very vocal about it.

He hasn’t had too much success recently:

This isn’t the first time that Rush has gotten some heat for his comments; in 2017, he blasted Emma on Twitter after she was released from the company. This did not go over well with several superstars.

Editor’s Thoughts:

I have always felt that he was a bit cocky, and that can be a problem. While it’s good to have confidence, you have to be a team player and be able to do what you are told. He’s talented, no doubt, but talent can only get you so far.
