Too little too late. For the first time in its long history, WrestleMania is going to be taped. That is going to change the entire feeling of the show, but in this situation, it is all that could possibly happen. With all of the health issues that are going on in the world at the moment, WWE does not exactly have the time to waste. They aren’t wasting time either, and that is causing an issue for a big star.
Last month, Samoa Joe was suspended for a violation of the WWE Wellness Policy. Due to it being his first violation of the policy, the suspension would last for thirty days. This came when Samoa Joe was in the middle of a feud with Seth Rollins and his followers, which could have put Samoa Joe in a major match at the biggest show of the year. His suspension is now up, but things might not go as expected.
According to PW Insider, Samoa Joe’s suspension is officially over, which means he could appear in some form at WrestleMania 36. However, this may be difficult to accomplish as WrestleMania is being taped on Wednesday March 25 and Thursday March 26. While Samoa Joe could get involved in the show, it would be a tight fit and is unlikely to take place. Samoa Joe’s most recent match took place on the February 10 Monday Night Raw.

Opinion: I would be surprised if WWE is going to put Samoa Joe on the card this late in the game, though it is possible. Samoa Joe is someone who can make a big impact if he is given the chance, but at the same time there is only so much that can be done if he can’t stay healthy or off the suspended list. I’m not sure how much longer he is going to be in the ring and it would be nice to see him get one big moment before his career is done.
