There’s your answer. The outbreak of the Coronavirus has changed a lot of things in the wrestling world. With so many things going on at once, there are going to be a few things that get lost in the shuffle. One such thing has been the fate of NXT Takeover: Tampa Bay, which has been canceled, despite having several matches already planned. Those matches have to take place at some point in the future and now we know when that will be.

One thing that NXT has done rather well is figure out a way to make anything feel important. You could see anything from the NXT Title to a #1 contenders match for the Tag Team Titles headline any given week of television. As a result, NXT can put together a card out of nowhere with almost anything and that is the kind of thing that they are going to be doing in the near future.

According to Sports Illustrated, the matches planned for Takeover: Tampa Bay will take place over the next few weeks on regular NXT TV. There is currently no word on when these matches will air, though there is only one match officially announced for Takeover: a ladder match for the #1 contendership to the NXT Women’s Title. Several other matches had been teased but none of them had been confirmed.

There is a lot going on. Check out what we might be seeing in the coming weeks:

Opinion: This is about all you can have for NXT and if nothing else, it could give the show a boost over Dynamite in the coming weeks. The matches and stories are already there and it would make sense to throw them out there so things can be set up for the future. Things should wind up going well enough as NXT knows how to pull off the big shows, even if they are stretched out like this.

What do you expect to see on the shows? Which match should be best? Let us know in the comments below.
