That never goes well. WWE is the biggest and most successful wrestling company in the world at the moment and it has his hands in all kinds of things. Whether it is the wrestling itself, the movie studio, the video games, the WWE Network or anything else, they are all over the place and that makes them a profitable company. It also makes things a little more complicated and opens the door for some legal issues.

Back in 1999, WWE went public on the New York Stock Exchange, allowing fans to buy shares in the company. The move brought the company a fortune that they would never see otherwise and brought them up to another level. At the same time though, it put a lot of authority in the hands of people who had nothing to do with professional wrestling and some of those people are not happy with WWE.

According to Globennewswires.com and Accesswire.com, law firms are investigating WWE for possibly violating security laws and class action lawsuits. This stems from issues involving difficulties with the Saudi Arabian government which have caused the company’s stock price to go down significantly. This comes less than a month after other law offices asked for stockholders to join class action lawsuits against WWE.

WWE has a history with lawsuits. Check out some of their court moments:

Opinion: I have no idea what this is going to mean and while there is a chance that it could go badly, there is also the chance that this goes nowhere and is an attempt to get money out of a company as they are having a hard time. The company’s ratings have not been strong, but it is hard to imagine that a company with so much money coming in off of their television deals. Maybe things will get interesting, but it is something where we are going to have to wait and see.
