Not so fast? As wrestling fans, we tend to like to try and figure out where the shows are going. It’s something we all do at some point, with some of the predictions being a little more ridiculous than others. There’s nothing wrong with that as it’s nice to just throw your ideas out there on occasion. Sometimes we wind up being right, but other times WWE (and others) will throw a curve ball at you, which is what they may have done now.

One of the best on and off again feuds over the last year in WWE has been Rey Mysterio vs. Andrade. These two just work very well together and their matches have been great more often than not. Arguably their biggest stories to date has been their recent feud over the United States Title, with Andrade taking the title from Mysterio and then retaining the title in the rematch. The second match seemed to set up something else, but maybe not it turns out.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Andrade ripped off Mysterio’s mask, only to have Mysterio attack him later in the night and take his mask back. However, according to Wrestling Observer Radio, there is no suggestion that Mysterio will be putting his mask on the line in any way in the near future. The feud is likely to continue, though without the mask vs. title stipulation being included.

These two work very well together. Check out what they did on Monday:

Opinion: This is something where it does seem to make a lot of sense, though maybe WWE has something else in mind. There is nothing wrong with putting Mysterio vs. Andrade out there again as the two can put on some awesome matches, but I’m not sure why they would tease such a special match and then go in another direction. It’s not a bad move, but rather a curious one.

What do you see next for the feud? Who will take the title from Andrade? Let us know in the comments below.
