Why do that to Alexander? Things have been changing in a hurry in WWE, but there are so many things that are always going to be the same. One of them involves making new stars to replace some of the older ones. Some of these are more successful attempts than others but it is always something that WWE is going to try to do. One recent attempt hasn’t been the biggest success, at least according to Vince McMahon.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, McMahon has decided to “bury” Cedric Alexander as he does not feel Alexander’s push is working out. Alexander was defeated by United States Champion AJ Styles in his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina at Sunday’s Clash Of Champions. The following night on Monday Night Raw, Alexander was again pinned by Styles in a six man tag. There is no word on what is next for Alexander.

It was going so well the week before. Check out Alexander vs. Styles the first time around:

Opinion: I’m not sure I buy this one as Alexander may have lost clean on Sunday, but he also was receiving a bigger push than he ever has before. Maybe this won’t be the end of his push, but it might be the end of the biggest part of it. Alexander certainly has a lot of talent and it’s clear that at least someone wanted to pus him, so there is at least a chance of something working out.
