The Mayor Speaks. Kane Returns To Raw In A Unique Way, Wins Championship

Don’t ever say that he doesn’t take time for the people. Tonight on Raw, Kane made his official return to WWE; however, it was not initially as you might think. The show emulated from Knoxville, Tennesee, which happens to be the county that he is now the mayor of; therefore, he returned as simply Glen Jacobs.

But it didn’t stop there.

Jacobs took 24/7 Champion R-Truth and Carmella on a tour of the sports facilities of the University of Tennessee, where the show was taking place. As they were taking a tour of the football stadium, Kane would take advantage of a situation and pin R-Truth to become the new champion!

However, the title reign would not last, as Truth hid on top of Kane’s limo and snuck up on him at the arena, to once again become the champion. Check it out below:

However, Jacobs’ night was not done.

As Seth Rollins was being beaten down by Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode and the OC, The Demon Kane made his return, in the full garb, and saved the Universal Champion from certain decimation.

Once again, however, Kane’s night was not over.

His ending came when The Fiend made his appearance and put Kane in the Mandible Claw, before hovering over Rollins to end the show.

Editor’s Opinion:

I completely forgot that Kane was the mayor of Knox County and this was a brilliant and very fun move by WWE to bring him back for one night only! It had been reported that even Vince McMahon was a fan of Jacobs winning the mayoral election and to have him come back in this matter was a very cool moment indeed!
