Awwwwww here we go. It hasn’t exactly been a secret that New Day was coming to “Smackdown Live” and it also wasn’t a secret that they were going to be thrust into the Tag Team Title picture in a hurry. While people probably should have expected it, I’m not sure people expected it to happen this fast.
This week on “Smackdown Live”, New Day made their debut in a segment with the Usos. After a brief exchange of words, New Day said that they wanted the titles and would get them one way or another. The Usos weren’t exactly thrilled but Kofi Kingston mentioned that Commissioner Shane McMahon had granted New Day a shot at the titles at the upcoming “Money in the Bank” pay per view in June.
Opinion: This isn’t exactly shocking and it’s the smartest thing they could have done at this point. New Day is automatically the most over team in the division so let them have their title shot right off the bat. They don’t even need to win the titles at the pay per view but without giving them a shot, not much else is going to matter.
The New Day returns with a warning for The Usos: SmackDown LIVE, May 30, 2017
Do you think New Day wins the titles? If not, who takes them from the Usos? Let us know in the comments below.
