They’re getting to this quickly. Via their Twitter account, WWE has announced that the Wyatt Family will put their newly won Smackdown Tag Team Titles on the line against the former champions Heath Slater and Rhyno tonight on “Smackdown Live”. Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt won the titles on Sunday when Orton pinned Rhyno with an RKO.

It should also be noted that the announcement officially lists Orton and Wyatt as defending the titles tonight. This is noteworthy as there were rumors that the Wyatts might defend under the Freebird Rule. While this match doesn’t mean the Freebird Rule is out of the question, it’s not taking place in their first title defense.

I’d much rather get this title defense out of the way quickly so the Wyatts can move on to something else. I don’t think there’s much of a chance that Slater and Rhyno are going to be around the top of the card much longer and it’s good to let them have their rematch and then move on to someone like American Alpha or the Hype Bros for the first real challengers.

Who do you want feuding with the Wyatts for the titles? Who should eventually take the belts from them? Let us know in the comments below.
