That’s never good. According to a new report from WrestlingInc.com, AJ Styles may have been injured during his match at “Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2016”. Styles celebrated to end the show before collapsing to end the show. The champ appeared to be favoring his foot and trying to move it around. He walked out under his own power but was noticeably limping.

Styles defeated Dean Ambrose to retain the Smackdown World Title in a Tables Ladders and Chairs match last night. Ambrose was also banged up and was being checked on by a trainer as well. There is no word on any potential injuries or if this was just a way to sell the match for the live crowd.

If Styles really is hurt, “Smackdown Live” could be in some trouble. Styles is one of the most consistent performers on the roster at the moment and it would be horrible if he had to miss any time. We’re still a few weeks away from “Royal Rumble 2017” so WWE can delay any major title matches but this could still be bad. Or it could be nothing and he’s fine.

What did you think of last night’s main event? Are you glad Styles retained? Let us know in the comments below.
