Who doesn’t need a veteran nutjob? According to ProWrestlingSheet.com, following her outstanding performance against NXT Women’s Champion Asuka at “Takeover: Toronto”, Mickie James has been offered a full time main roster contract. James, 37, performed in WWE from 2005 until 2010 and mainly appeared in TNA since. As of this writing, James has neither accepted nor declined.

The match against Asuka was her first appearance in WWE since 2010 and James was well received in her performance. There is no word on which roster she would appear on but with the possibility that Tamina will wind up on “Monday Night Raw”, James going to “Smackdown Live” would make sense.

There’s nothing wrong with having a veteran from a previous era to help bridge the gap to the new generation. James is far from old and can more than keep going in the ring. The match with Asuka was entertaining and James became one of the only people to go toe to toe with the champ. Signing her again would make sense and either division would be lucky to have her.

Would you want James back on the main roster? If so, which show should she be on? Let us know in the comments below.
