Mama Mia! Over the weekend, rumors began to circulate that Mauro Ranallo might be leaving WWE. This has been quickly shot down by Ranallo in a string of Tweets, including statements that he has years left on his contract. Ranallo also calls such rumors “BS” and doesn’t seem happy with these reports.

After debuting with WWE in January of this year, Ranallo has done commentary for a variety of WWE shows, including “Smackdown Live”, the “Cruiserweight Classic”, “205 Live” and various pay per views. Ranallo also does commentary for Showtime’s boxing and kickboxing shows.

I hope Ranallo is sticking around and these tweets would seem to indicate he is. There’s a level of seriousness to his commentary that you just don’t get these days. It really does give off a feeling that he cares about what he’s seeing and wants to make it sound exciting. If nothing else, his commentary with Daniel Bryan helped make the “Cruiserweight Classic” shows as entertaining as they were.

Are you a fan of Ranallo? Would you like to see him do commentary on “Monday Night Raw”? Let us know in the comments below.
