AJ Styles’ Butt Exposed After TLC Pants Malfunction

Social media was full of new billings for the Face That Runs the Place. “The Ass That Runs the Class.” “The Rump That Runs the Dump.” “The Rear That Rips the Gear.” What’s with the booty-themed punnery? AJ Styles had what we might refer to as a “wardrobe malfunction” in the midst of his World Championship defense against Dean Ambrose.

A tights rip left a not-insignificant portion of AJ’s butt exposed to the world, and for a while the champion’s booty was the true star of the match. More than once the arena broke out in “let’s go butt cheek” chants.

It was distracting, to say the least.

That’s a degree of wrestler butt-focused ogling you don’t normally see outside of a Nikki Bella match.

It speaks to the strength of Ambrose and Styles as wrestlers that they ended up able to turn the crowd’s attention away from the ripped gear and back to the match at hand, which was an excellent bout worthy of the World Title–not withstanding some interference from Ellsworth.
