Fancy meeting you here. We’re less than a week away from the Royal Rumble and as of this writing, twenty of the thirty spots in the men’s Royal Rumble match have been filled in. That leaves a rather healthy ten spots open and some of the names we get to see could be rather entertaining. Part of the fun of the Royal Rumble is seeing who shows up, but another part of the fun is knowing in advance.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, there are several names who have been off of WWE TV that may be ready to return in the upcoming men’s Royal Rumble match. Some of these names include Harper and Rowan, both of whom have been out of action since the fall, Tye Dillinger, who hasn’t wrestled since October, Matt Hardy, who has said that he is the lightest he’s been in about twenty years, and Bray Wyatt, who has wrestled a few house show matches in recent weeks. It is also possible that these names might appear on the following television shows, which often feature returning wrestlers.
I mean, it worked before. Check out this well done surprise entrant:
Opinion: While most of these aren’t exactly huge names, it’s still cool to see them come back and get in the ring again. It’s never good to see someone on the shelf with an injury and hopefully these guys are all back and better than ever. They’re all talented in multiple ways so seeing them come out in the Royal Rumble would be a nice treat, especially with some of them having been out for so long.
Which of these names do you want back most? Who else do you want back? Let us know in the comments below.
