Do New Elite Shirts Hint At Future AEW Roster Members?

Get them while they last. What else is there to say about AEW at the moment? There are all kinds of things to talk about and most of them have already been covered nearly to death. However, that doesn’t mean that they’re not some of the biggest stories in wrestling right now, as we continue to build towards Double Or Nothing in May. It turns out there’s something else going on and it’s quite the addition for them.

As announced on the OneHourTees Twitter, there will be six Elite shirts released at selected Hot Topic stores in the near future. These shirts include Hangman Page, Cody, the Young Bucks, Marty Scurll, Kenny Omega and the Elite, though Scurll and Omega have not been announced as members of the AEW roster. Hot Topic sold these shirts while the members were part of the Bullet Club. There is no word on when the shirts will hit stores.

Opinion: This is one of those steps that has to be taken and the fact that the group already has an in with the chain should help them a lot. With about four months to go before their first show, something has to be done to keep the company in fans’ minds and merchandise is certainly a way to go. There’s a good chance these shirts will sell well and that’s only a good thing for AEW.
