Everyone has to leave at some point. There are some wrestlers who seem like they are going to be around the sport forever. This is especially true in WWE as there are people there who feel like they are just never going to go away. While that may not exactly be true, it can seem rather shocking when one of them actually does leave. As it turns out, we may know when that will be the case for a certain top star.

WWE enjoys presenting WrestleMania Moments. While these may be somewhat few and far between, they nailed one this year and it was quite the special event. Earlier this year at WrestleMania 35, Kofi Kingston shocked the wrestling world by finally becoming WWE Champion after well over ten years in the company. It was the culmination of a long road to the top, but now we may know where that road ends.

In a recent interview with Newsweek, Kingston said that he may have just signed his last WWE contract. Kingston, 38, signed a five year contract with the company earlier this month, and said that it may be the last one of his career. He said that he wants to spend more time with his family, which cannot be the case as he is dealing with the WWE schedule. This was not definitive and Kingston could change his mind either way.

It was a crowning moment. Check out Kingston’s title win:

Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised at this as Kingston would be 43 years old when this contract expires. Not many wrestlers make it that far in the first place and at some point you have to hang up the boots. Kingston is known for his athleticism, and if that starts to go away due to age, he might not want to stick around and perform at a lower level than what he could do before. Either way, he’ll be missed whenever he leaves.

What is your favorite Kingston match? How long do you see him sticking around? Let us know in the comments below.
