Another one out the door? There are a lot of moves taking place in the wrestling world right now as a lot of different companies are trying to position themselves as well as they can. Given the amount of talent that WWE has on its multiple rosters, it makes sense that they are the company with the most names possibly moving around. Several names have tried to get out of their contracts early, but there is one name whose contract is coming up and may leave on her own.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, current Women’s Tag Team Champion Kairi Sane’s contract expires at some point in early 2020 and there is no word that she has signed an extension. It is currently not clear what her future plans are but her leaving WWE and working somewhere else is a possibility. Sane is said to be wanting to explore her options, which would likely include a return to Japan or going to AEW, though there is no clear word on where she might be interested in going, should she leave WWE at all.

Sane has certainly made an impact. Check out some of her bigger moments:

Opinion: I don’t know what the future holds for Sane, but she has never quite broken through to that next level. The pirate gimmick is great and she plays the role very well, but it just has not turned her into a top star. Sane is only thirty one years old and could be around for a long time so it isn’t like she has limited options. AEW would certainly love to have her, as would Stardom and WWE. Either way, she is going to be a success due to talent alone and that is a good place to be.

Where do you see Sane going? Should she stay in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
