RUMOR: It Might Be Happening. Vince McMahon To Step Away From WWE Creative.

The end of the era? There is no secret that Vince McMahon is the undisputed king of WWE. McMahon has owned the company for the better part of forty years and has turned it into the most successful wrestling promotion of all time. He has his hand in almost every aspect of the company, but now it seems that with various other things on his plate, he might be letting go of some things.

According to Tom Colohue of Sportskeeda.com, McMahon is slowly starting to step away from the creative side of WWE. He has left Monday night Raw in the hands of Triple H and Paul Heyman as he has placed his trust in them. McMahon will continue to have oversight of the creative side of the company, albeit from a bit more of a distance. There is no word on how much hands on control McMahon will still have or when this will be finalized.

Opinion: I’ll believe this one when I see it. Somehow I just can’t imagine McMahon giving up full control and if the ratings go badly on SmackDown Live on FOX, something tells me that FOX will be happy to see McMahon take the helm again. You can’t really blame him for wanting to keep control either, but this year has not gone so well for the company and maybe it’s time for something new.
