You have his attention. A manager can do more than a few good things for a wrestler. As talented as some wrestlers are, there may be a place where they lack a bit. That is where a manager can come in to help things out, with talking often being a major focal point. Sometimes just being with a manager can increase someone’s reputation and now such a manager might be interested in someone else.
There are very few wrestlers as noteworthy today as Paul Heyman. While he might not have a perfect success record, the success that he has had is some of the best in the current generation. Having CM Punk and Brock Lesnar on your resume can bring you some major attention and being labeled a Paul Heyman Guy is quite the accolade. Now someone else has caught Heyman’s eye.
Earlier this weekend, Heyman responded to a tweet from a University of Central Florida football player named Parker Boudreaux, who describes himself as The Next Big Thing, ala Heyman’s former client Lesnar. Heyman said that Boudreaux is someone worth watching and calls that a spoiler. There is no word on Boudreaux having any interest in getting involved with wrestling.
His tweet is not a prediction. It’s a spoiler.
Save this #HustleTweet for future historical reference.

Opinion: It’s certainly an interesting one but this seems to be more that Boudreax is a Lesnar lookalike, both in the face and in the physique. If football doesn’t work out for him, a wrestling career would not be out of the question, and that is hardly the worst idea in the world. Or maybe it’s just Heyman having some fun and trying to get some attention, which is quite a strong point for him as well.
