AEW Star Praises Big E.’s Hilarious Promo

You always hear about the potential. Last year saw a lot of changes in WWE with a good many of them taking place in front of the camera. Some of these were a lot bigger than others, but one of the more shocking changes saw the New Day being split up. The move left Big E. on his own for the first time in a good many years, but he has already found success with the Intercontinental Title. Now he is getting to talk about it as well.

One of the more consistently praised aspects of Big E.’s career is his talking ability, which has showcased his incredible charisma. That is the kind of thing that can carry you a rather long way in wrestling and has helped get him this far. It was also on display after he won the Intercontinental Title on Christmas night and now it is receiving some additional praise from outside WWE.

AEW star Chuck Taylor sent out a tweet saying that the only thing he watched more than once in the last year was Big E.’s promo after winning the Intercontinental Title, which he has watched “like seven times”. The promo featured Big E. wearing a construction hat and talking about doing work on Sami Zayn, including using him to build condos and housing developments.

Opinion: He had me with “I made sure there was an area for picnics.” This was some weird channeling of Randy Savage mixed with Big E.’s charisma and it was one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a long time in WWE. Letting Big E. do something like this is going to keep the attention on him and that is what WWE has been needing to do for a good while. Keep this up and they might have a star on their hands.
