And it was big. This week’s episode of “Monday Night Raw” was the heavily hyped up 25th Anniversary show and it was one of the most stacked episodes in the show’s history. With a host of top level guest stars and some big moments announced in advance, there was no doubt that the show was going to be a huge deal. So what kind of an audience did the show draw?

According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode of “Monday Night Raw” drew 4.53 million viewers, the highest since the Raw Reunion episode on January 19, 2015. Instead of comparing it to a regular episode, the best choice is to compare it to other big episodes. By comparison, the 1,200th episode drew 3.268 million, the 1,100th drew 4.123 million, the 1,000th drew 6.02 million and the 900th drew 4.791 million.

Opinion: The numbers are indeed good, but what else were you expecting? This show almost had to be a huge hit as there’s only so much surprise you can have over the numbers being big. There was no way this wasn’t going to be a big time show and while I liked the show more than some, the numbers aren’t a surprise.
