According to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet, and confirmed by WWE, Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore has been suspended by the company due to allegations of rape.

The report states that Amore is being investigated by police in Arizona, for allegedly raping a woman last year inside a hotel room. It says:

A rep for the Phoenix PD confirmed that a report was filed and the incident is still under investigation. However, we’re told the bulk of the investigation is complete and police are just waiting on lab results. Sources tell us the alleged incident took place on October 19th in the early morning.

WWE has issued the following statement regarding the matter:

Editor’s Opinion:

This is absolutely awful, and if Amore is found guilty, this will ruin his career. There is absolutely no tolerance for this type of behavior under any circumstances.
