This is not a drill! We repeat- THIS IS NOT A DRILL! WWE have finally created their own official Reddit account and let us tell you… it’s just hilarious.

Reddit, for those unfamiliar with the social media platform, is a place where users can submit links, text, images and videos for other users to vote up or down depending on the content inside.

Reddit and subreddit accounts exist for just about anything. From gaming to politics, science to fitness there is something for everyone- and WWE have finally launched their own account for fans to keep up with and really- with the slogan “the front page of the internet” could WWE really avoid it much longer?

As WWE.com report, the account was launched just in time for the 25th anniversary of ‘Raw,’ and the road to ‘WrestleMania.’

You can follow the company’s account on their Reddit page, which is available at Reddit.com/user/RealWWE or u/RealWWE for short.

For an idea on what they intend to post and why we find this decision so hilarious, take a look at their first post:

“WWE’s official Reddit page is here, so let’s start this off right. Bring it in:

As mentioned in our WWE.com article, we are really pumped to be (“finally …. FINALLY”) part of the Reddit community and are looking forward to submitting posts and interacting with all of you.

With Raw’s 25th Anniversary tonight and Royal Rumble right around the corner, it’s a super-busy time at WWE Headquarters and we can’t wait for you to see what’s in store for the rest of 2018.

Here’s a quick rundown of what we hope to offer from our official WWE Reddit user page:

• The coolest original content from our digital and social platforms (don’t worry, we will always search for duplicates before posting and won’t spam you … we’ve brushed up on our reddiquette)

• Previously unseen/rare photos and memorabilia from our archives

• Sneak peeks at what it’s like to work inside WWE Headquarters

• Deleted scenes from our original video series (Did someone say unreleased Southpaw footage?)

• Funniest WWE GIFs from our official GIPHY channel

• Got any other ideas of what you’d like to see from us? We’re ready for the hot tag.

Thanks a lot for checking us out and Happy Rusev Day to those of you who celebrate the joyous occasion.”

Rusev Day… you say? Below we have featured a sample from Edge & Christian’s Podcast of Awesomeness where the former praises the ‘Rusev Day’ gimmick.

Do you use or have you ever used Reddit? Will this tempt you to use it?
