It comes with the territory. There are a lot of ways a wrestler can get injured and some of them are a lot worse than others. Sometimes it can take a little while longer to set in but there are some injuries which are about as obvious as you can get right off the bat. Another one took place during this week’s Monday Night Raw, though you might not have noticed it at first.
This week’s Monday Night Raw was quite the roller coaster with all kinds of big moments and events taking place. Several of these involved the women’s division, with Natalya and Lana splitting up to end their team. It wasn’t over for both women though, as they took part in a battle royal to crown a new #1 contender to the Raw Women’s Title. During the match, one of the women got a little bit roughed up.
Natalya has revealed that Lacey Evans knocked out her tooth during their interaction in the battle royal. The two fought on the apron near the end of the match until Evans’ hurricanrana was countered into a swing into the post for the elimination, though Lana eliminated Natalya for the win. This is not the first time that Natalya has lost teeth in WWE, as she had her two front teeth knocked out during a live event in Las Vegas in 2016.
Such a whirlwind of emotions tonight on #WWERaw ~ One thing I know for sure, @LaceyEvansWWE strikes are NO joke!! She’s a bad ass…knocked my tooth out…but I still eliminated her in the match! So there’s that! ?? #BOAT pic.twitter.com/8yxsBnJpWK

It’s a rough business. Check out Natalya’s night, plus her original teeth issues:
Opinion: This is one of those things that is going to happen at one point or another in wrestling and there is little that can be done about it. The injury might not look great but at least it doesn’t seem to be anything too bad and certainly not career threatening. If nothing else though, it’s pretty rough on Natalya to have three teeth knocked out in just a few years in wrestling. It’s the price you pay I guess, but that’s some bad luck.
What did you think of the battle royal? What s next for Natalya? Let us know in the comments below.
