Put one on, take one off. WWE is changing in a hurry at the moment and that means it can be difficult to keep up with all of the programming that they are offering. With so many shows week to week, another hour of television sounds like it would make things even harder. At the same time though, there is a chance that WWE could take a show away to balance things out, which may be the case.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, there is a chance that 205 Live could be canceled or moved to the WWE Network when SmackDown Live moves to FOX. The network wants the tapings to last for three hours, but 205 Live is considered to be a failed experiment and something new may be brought in. What that new idea may be is not clear at the moment.
They would be getting rid of a good show. Check out this week’s huge 205 Live main event:
Opinion: As much as I like 205 Live, I can’t say I blame WWE for thinking this way. FOX is not going to want to showcase a program where most of the audience is leaving as the show takes place and WWE has never found a way around that problem. At the same time though, I’m not sure what they can put there in its place, unless they put 205 Live on early, which would seem to be the solution all along.
