It’s time to go international. There are a lot of wrestlers in WWE at the moment and that means things are hard to keep track of everyone. WWE has reached the point where they have several different rosters, with one of them even going all the way to the United Kingdom. That opens a lot of doors for wrestlers to appear elsewhere and now one of WWE’s stars is appearing somewhere outside of the company.
There is a lot of wrestling in the world other than just WWE. That means there are several places for wrestlers to work and that is something that can make wrestling a lot more interesting around the world. This includes wrestling different styles and with different opponents, though many of them try to make it to WWE. Sometimes WWE wrestlers go elsewhere though and that is going to be the case, at least on a temporary basis.
As announced on Twitter, Lio Rush will be returning to WXW in Germany to participate in the 2020 16 Carat Gold Tournament. The annual sixteen man tournament will be taking place from March 6 – March 8 in Oberhausen, Germany. The tournament is a big deal. Check out part of the tournament, plus a bit of Rush:
Opinion: This is something that is quite the coup for WXW but at the same time, it makes WWE look a little bit better as well. Rush is someone who may not be the biggest star in WWE but he is someone that they can send to the tournament to make the company look good. It helps everyone and while Rush is not likely to win the tournament, he can offer it a little extra prestige.
Do you like Rush entering the tournament? Is it a good move for WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
