That isn’t a good sign. WWE is a publicly traded company and that means they are going to have a lot of different things going on than the normal wrestling company. Most of these matters are going to be financial in nature, including things that affect the value of the company’s stock. Some of these can be very good, but something might have happened that is incredibly negative.

Over the last few weeks, the WWE’s stock value has cratered, falling about twenty dollars (about a third of its value) since January 30. This has centered around the company’s fourth quarter financial report, which came a week after WWE’s co-presidents, George Barrios and Michelle Wilson left the company. It turns out that their issues may not be over yet.

As announced in a press release, the law firm of Levi & Korsinsky has announced that they are investigating WWE “concerning possible violations of federal securities laws”. The investigation stems from WWE’s third quarter of 2019 financial results, issued on October 31, 2019, which were lower than 2019. The negative results caused the stock price to drop by over 16%.

WWE has dealt with some stock issues before. Check out some of the related moments:

Opinion: I’m not sure what all of this means, but it seems to come from the idea that WWE had a bad quarter and a law firm is trying to get stockholders to join up in a lawsuit against WWE. Assuming there isn’t a lot more to it, that doesn’t exactly sound like the easiest thing in the world to prove. There is always the chance that something comes of this, but it sounds like a bit of a stretch.
