So much for that. There are a lot of wrestlers in the world today and thanks to the internet offering such a new way to watch so much of it, a lot of wrestlers are receiving attention like they never have before. This allows them to get a lot of offers they never would have had and that is good for everyone involved. Some of the offers are bigger than others but in this case, one of those big offers isn’t a viable one.

The rise of AEW has really shaken up the wrestling world. There is now another major place for the wrestlers to perform aside from just WWE and that is a good thing for a lot of the talent. Not only does it give thew wrestlers working there a nice paycheck and exposure, but it also gives a lot of other wrestlers something to shoot for. That includes those wrestling elsewhere, but one of them won’t be in AEW anytime soon.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW will not be able to sign Mance Warner at this point, despite having interest in bringing him into the company. Warner is currently under contract with MLW, which bars him from appearing for AEW. While Maxwell Jacob Friedman and Jimmy Havoc had wrestled for both promotions, their contracts had been signed before AEW had come into existence.

Not familiar with Warner? Check out something from the Southern Psycho:

Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised about this but I also can’t say I’m happy. Warner has been someone who has showcased himself well in MLW and I’d love to see him on a bigger stage. That being said, a contract is a contract and AEW will be there when Warner’s deal is up. MLW isn’t doing anything wrong here and while I’d like to see Warner wrestle for AEW, that isn’t going to happen at the moment, which is ok.

What do you think of Warner? Would he fit in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
