Another one down. It’s been a very busy summer for WWE as they have a lot more shows going on than at any other time of the year. That can mean a lot going on, but at the same time it can mean that shows come and go without much actually taking place. One of those shows aired on Friday with Super ShowDown, but did anything actually happen with the titles this time around?

There were no title changes at Super ShowDown as every champion successfully retained their title via pinfall. This includes Kofi Kingston defeating Dolph Ziggler to retain the WWE Title, Baron Corbin failing to win the Universal Title from Seth Rollins and Finn Balor keeping the Intercontinental Title from Andrade. It continues a trend for the Saudi Arabia shows as no champion has ever lost their title on any of the three shows, though two vacant titles have been decided there.

Here’s how one of them went down. Check out the Intercontinental Title match from Super ShowDown:

Opinion: At some point, a title is going to have to change hands on one of these shows. There comes a point where it doesn’t matter what the matches are if the champions aren’t in any real danger. You would think something like that would happen at some point but after a year and a half of these shows, there hasn’t been a single one. That’s a lot to take and it needs to change at the next show.

Which of these results surprised you? What will be the first title to change hands in Saudi Arabia? Let us know in the comments below.
