Well he tried. Earlier this week on Monday Night Raw, Brock Lesnar seemed ready to get the Universal Title back by cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Seth Rollins. Instead of doing just that though, Lesnar said he would be waiting until Friday at Super Showdown. Well now Super ShowDown has come and gone and that brings up the question of what happened with the briefcase.

On Friday at Super ShowDown, Lesnar did try to cash in his briefcase but Paul Heyman dropped the briefcase itself, allowing Rollins to fight back and attack Lesnar. There was no official cash in, meaning Lesnar is still officially Mr. Money In The Bank. Lesnar was not seen for the rest of the show and at the moment there is no word on when his next appearance will take place.

Rollins was quite the player in this. Check out what he had to say after dispatching Lesnar again:

Opinion: So yeah Money in the Bank is still going for some reason. Lesnar is the kind of guy who makes sense with the briefcase as he isn’t going to be around teasing a cash in every few weeks. It makes for some slightly more important moments but at the same time, it makes you wonder how long it’s going to be running around no matter what. I don’t want to see Lesnar win the title again but that seems to be where we’re heading.

What did you think of Lesnar’s attempt? When will he actually cash in? Let us know in the comments below.
