Where is this going? While WWE and AEW are the two dominant wrestling promotions in the United States, they are not the only companies out there. One of the best changes to the wrestling world has been the ability to watch almost all of the wrestling that a fan could be interested in seeing online. Several promotions have gotten in on the idea and are able to grow as a result. Now one seems to be undergoing a big shakeup.

There have been some incredible surprises in wrestling over the last few years but very little came more out of nowhere than the revival of the National Wrestling Alliance. After being little more than a glorified punchline, the promotion came roaring back with the Powerrr series starting in late 2019. The show lasted until early 2021, but a variety of issues brought it back down. Things are changing again but it is not clear what is going on.

The National Wrestling Alliance’s YouTube page has deleted all of its videos, including all episodes of their Powerrr and Shockwave series. There is no word on why this was done, but according to Dave Meltzer on the F4WOnline forums, the promotion is expected to make an announcement in the next few days. The announcement is being described as “a good thing”.

The company has still been around. Check out some of their more recent moments:

Opinion: This is something that could go in a lot of different directions and that is not a bad thing. Above all else, it is nice to see the National Wrestling Alliance do something fresh for a change, but right now it is not clear what that thing is going to be. I’m curious to see what is happening, but hopefully it involves the company getting back in front of fans at some point in the near future, wherever that is.
