Wrestling fans are awesome. There are a lot of people who are involved in the collective group that makes up wrestling fandom. WWE might call it the WWE Universe, but at the end of the day, they are wrestling fans by any name. That means they care enough to watch the shows more often than not, often because they love the wrestlers. This time around, they are showing that in a different way.

Earlier this week, tragedy struck the wrestling world as National Wrestling Alliance star Jocephus, better known as the Question Mark, passed away earlier this week. His passing came out of nowhere and shook up quite a few wrestlers and wrestling fans. That is not the kind of thing that you can get over in a hurry, but now fans are showing their appreciation in another way.

A Go Fund Me has been set up for Jocephus to help cover his medical costs and funeral expenses. The initial goal was set at $15,000 and the total has been surpassed in less than two days, with over $27,000 already having been raised. Various wrestling personalities, including Cody Rhodes, Shaun Ricker (Eli Drake) and David Arquette and his wife Christina have donated as well. Any funds beyond the $15,000 goal will be placed in a trust fund for Jocephus’ son.

Jocephus was quite a star. Check out what he could do:

Opinion: This is something that makes me smile a bit as having wrestlers and wrestling fans come together to help the family of a wrestler who has passed away is a great thing to see. Of course it is awful to have it be necessary, but it does make things a bit better than having everyone sit around. It shows you a different level of love for a wrestler and wrestling in general, which is a great thing to see.
