I’m afraid we have to let you go. There are a lot of talented wrestlers in the world these days and a lot of them work in WWE. That being said, a lot of them might not be happy working there and some have even tried to get out. While that may have seemed impossible for a very long time, it changed up a bit on Sunday with four names actually being released from the company. That switched things up a bit and for some others, it was a good sign.
On Sunday, Sin Cara, Luke Harper and the Ascension were all released from their contracts. These names had all been attempting to get out of the company for a good while now, mainly due to a lack of activity. With so many wrestlers in WWE, there were some who just were not going to be able to get in the ring. That was the case with the four of them so they seemed to be happy. But what about the rest of the locker room?
But first, a look back. Check out the Ascension in their actually successful days:
According to Fightful Select by way of Ringsidenews.com, the four wrestlers were all pleased with their releases. At the same time, an unnamed member of the locker room was said to be pleased as well because the four got what they wanted. There is no indication of any other potential releases for wrestlers who have made an effort to get out of their contracts. There is also no word on where any of the four wrestlers will be wrestling next.
The other two deserve a look as well. Check out Harper and Sin Cara in action:
Opinion: Good for all four of them. They were not going to get to wrestle as frequently as they wanted to in WWE and, aside from Harper, I can’t imagine any of them having any significant impact for another major promotion. It comes off as a case of the two sides being better off apart and that is just how it works at times. Let the two sides go their separate ways and see what else can be done for all of them.
Which of the four will have the best success outside of WWE? Where do you see them winding up? Let us know in the comments below.
